I have this sub hooked up to a Hifonics Hfi1000.1d 1000 Watt RMS HFI Series Mono Channel Class D Car Amplifier + Cadence Wk41 Complete Wiring Kitin a custom sealed box running at 750 watts and it BANGS!!!!! My trunk moves up and down about a quarter inch when it hits and my roof flexes and air is forced out the trim of my sunroof and i only have one sub. I push this sub hard every day and it holds up to my abuse, I think my car will rattle itself apart before the sub blows. I am planning on putting one in a friends car because she herd mine and wants something as clean and loud as mine. I have/would recommend this product along with the amp to anyone who is looking for a quality sub.

I have always had RF subs in my vehicles. After finally blowing a set of 5 year old 12" RF subs I decided to go with one higher quality sub for space reasons. I have this sub in a ported box. I have an MTX Jackhammer amp wired to it pushing 600rms and about 1100 max. This is a dual voice coil sub and I have it wired to run at 2 ohms. This sub is high quality and you can feel that in the materials. Make sure you put it in a 3/4" mdf box and not the normal 1/2" mdf boxes. I listen to everything from rap to classic rock to country. This sub makes them all sound great. I have a bass knob by the driver seat so I can a-just how much I want depending on the music. It sounds clean with no rattle from the basket or magnet. Don't be skimpy on the amp you use, get one with plenty of power. When my budget allows I will be added another one to my system.

powered by Infinity 611a amp. 650watt rms at 2 ohm. This sub hits hard. I am glad i got this for $150. It is loud and clear. I have a amp remote to control the gain level. I an turn it down when it is too hard or have passenger in my car. Only minor issue is the trim ring won't fix in on my pre build QLogicbox. The sub with the trim ring is 13.31 inch diameter. My QLogic box was just quarter inch short. The sub's overall diameter is 13.07inch, and it is a snuggle fit in my Qlogic box. I am sure i can modify the box's trim to make the ring fit. And i striped the Socket head driver bit. I used my own Hex key to install those screws.
I would definitely recommend this sub.
