This roof mount rack by Yakima is the best rack for the money. Easy to install, not bad to assemble out of the package and hold our bikes excellent!
The only downfall in my opinion is that if you leave the racks in place without a bike for traveling they do not come with a strap/tiedown for the arm. It seems to ride well in the down position but still being able to "latch" it down seems to be a better option.
All together though this was the best roof mount rack of 4 brands we looked at.

This is my second Raptor rooftop bike rack. The first set was destroyed when I forgot the bikes were on top of the car and tried to pull into the garage.
The mounting design is changed to a track under the trough that the mounting bolts slide into (my last one had holes where the bolt was inserted from the top). Getting the brackets lined up with my roof supports and also with the clamp for the bike tube was a pain! At least, if the bikes do hit something again, maybe the brackets will pop off instead of mangling the whole rack?? Hopefully I will never find out!

Comes with Mighty Mounts and regular mounts (for round bars or square). A great addition to my collection of Yakima rack products. I am using Volvo factory bars on an S60 - the regular mounts fit. My son is using these on a Subaru with factory cross-bars - fits with Mighty Mounts. And on the Yakima bars we have on the Volvo wagon, these fit perfectly.
