OK, so now you know I love it. Not only is it cute looking (not a top priority, but it helps), but it is easy to clean, and cooks to perfection. It works beautifully for smaller recipes, especially the " Glorious One-Pot Meals" by Elizabeth Yarnell. It is the pot that she uses in all of her 2 serving recipes. Good price and hard size to find in stores - most are sold online.

We ventured hesitantly into the world of high-end cookware, but we were not disappointed. This product gets near daily use in our home, and we've had it now for almost two years. It looks like it arrived yesterday. Great quality, fantastic workmanship, and beautiful to boot. It's a combination that's hard to beat. We're very satisfied with this pot - the only downside is that now I'm compelled to buy more!

*** January 2010 Update *** Now it's been almost 5 years since we bought this product. We can't recommend it highly enough. I have noticed some minor brown scarring on the bottom of the inside enamel, but it in no way affects performance and frankly, I rather think it gives it character. We've since added the 5 1/2 quart version (same color) because we so often wanted to use the 2 quart but it wasn't quite big enough. Now both get frequent use.

I know it seems ridiculous to spend $100 or $200 for a pot, but this is truly something that you will hand down to your kids and which simply makes better tasting food. Love it.

I got this thing specifically to do rice, and it has been incredible. You can always find a 'deal' on something else but the Le Creuset line is incredible.
